Our Beloved Los Cabos Will Rise Again!
As many of you know, just two short weeks ago Hurricane Odile struck Baja California Sur causing great damage to the entire Los Cabos area. Thankfully, the entire ELENA DAMY team not only survived, but are working with our local communities to restore, renew and recover from the storm. Please know, that from the bottom of our hearts we thank you all for your concern and patience during this challenging time. Our thoughts and prayers continue to remain with all of those affected by the storm, including our clients, families, friends, employees, and event partners.
But have no fear! Although our lovely Los Cabos is not at its glorious best AT THE MOMENT, trust us when we say, it soon will be again! In fact, the entire area is quickly coming back more and more each day! Our hearts and spirits are blissfully hard at work, joining the tireless efforts to reconnect, reorganize and rebuild the luxurious, sun-filled paradise we all love.

Together with our hospitality compadres, ELENA DAMY is committed to helping our community in any way we can. Should you wish to join us in those efforts, please support The Cabo Hurricane Fund which is administered by the Sarahuaro Community Foundation. A registered 501(c)3 organization in the United States, the Sarahuaro has a long history of working in the Los Cabos area, and is partnering with local leaders to determine a strategic plan of immediate community support. Sarahuaro will be providing 100% of the funds raised to local Mexican AC’s who are able to serve the most needy families impacted by Hurricane Odile. It is important in times like these that we collaborate together and share the same vision… rebuilding a beautiful community!
Now, let’s talk celebrations! The storm and her aftermath have meant some of our wonderful clients have had to quickly reschedule their October and November weddings. Since we design weddings around the world, please know that ELENA DAMY would be happy to reschedule your event in Los Cabos to a later date OR move your wedding to Punta Mita, the Riviera Maya, or anywhere else you love in Mexico, South America, or the United States. In fact, we have just returned from Southern California, as one of our clients was unable to reschedule her October wedding and chose instead to move her wedding to Santa Barbara.
Knowing that Los Cabos will be back up and running in just a couple of months, (fingers crossed for November!) we encourage you to call us as soon as possible to reschedule your event.
So, keep the faith. We are, because our beloved Los Cabos will rise again, even more beautiful than before, and ready to welcome guests with open arms and happy smiles. Los Cabos is worth the wait!
