Rehearsal Dinner on the Beach at Palmilla
WE LOVED THIS REHEARSAL DINNER ON THE BEACH at One&Only Palmilla, for its gorgeous location, of course, but also for its festive attire! And we’re not talking clothing. Our clients chose dreamy pastels for their wedding the next day, but for their rehearsal party (which is really what this was! a late night, no hold barred PARTY) they embraced the bright, cheerful storytelling patterns of tenango textiles. For those of you who don’t know, tenangos are traditional Mexican embroidered fabrics created by the Otomí Indians from Tenango, Hidalgo. With saturated colors, graphic floral and animal patterns, and the bold use of positive and negative space, contemporary tenangos like Palmilla’s cobalt blue and white table clothes above, present a striking example of modern ingenuity merged with ancient tradition.
ADD SOME FIERY FLOWERS in tones of tangerine, lemon, fuschia, and garnet with groupings of California modern furniture and plenty of romantic metal lanterns, and you have the makings for a fantastic festival of rehearsal fun! The horse, mariachi, fireworks, photo booth, and delicious menu were just a bonus.
