Business As Usual, So Far

As we head into this weekend’s amazing, three-day destination wedding celebration, it occurred to us how truly lucky we are. SO FAR, anyway. Here in Baja California Sur, Mexico it is business as usual for ELENA DAMY, planning weddings, designing events, and coordinating parties. As of this writing, our beautiful little corner of the world has not been hit by COVID-19 like other places across the globe. There are no cases of the coronavirus in Cabo. We do not have closed borders, school closures, canceled sporting events, and mandatory social distancing. Not yet. But we are ready to face the pandemic if and/or when it comes to our shores.

Please know, we are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus COVID-19 cases and following guidelines from these agencies as well as our local health departments here in Mexico.

We will do what is required for the health and safety of our families, friends, and fellow citizens.

Our dear friends, clients, colleagues, and creative partners, #TeamElenaDamy sees the confusion and panic that is washing across the globe. We’re as glued to the television, radio shows and podcasts as you are! While we are not currently in the same position as many on the front lines, we offer everyone our love, support, and prayers to continue to face this challenging time with the strength, compassion, and fortitude needed.

For Now, It’s Business As Usual

Now, we’re going to get back to coordinating the incredible events we have on tap this weekend, from the cooking classes for the bride and her bridesmaids to the golf games scheduled for the groom and his boys, and the wedding itself at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort. We love what we do so we’re going to keep on, keepin’ on! We’re going to continue showing up every day as creative professionals, business owners, and fellow global citizens — because that’s what we need to do right now. Show up for each other. More than ever!
