Twilight Wedding Dinner at El Farallon

With over 15 years of wedding planning and event design experience here in Cabo San Lucas, we have created many different decorative settings for clients at countless event venues. One of our favorite Cabo wedding locations, whether chosen to host the wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, or after-wedding brunch, is El Farallon Restaurant at The Resort at Pedregal. As you can see from these gorgeous photos from our friends at 4 Eyes Photography, the cliffside restaurant provides outstanding ocean views and breathtaking sunset settings. In other words, the PERFECT spot for any seaside special occasion! This event was just one such event.

Design Inspiration

When the surroundings are this spectacular, both the beautifully-designed resort itself as well as the natural Baja landscapes it’s embedded within, there is no need to overwhelm the space with tall, grandiose decor. Instead, Elena Damy, our Creative Director, evaluates the event’s needs and the party host’s goals, to design an event design scheme that enhances the space without competing with it. In this particular case, Elena chose to design a subtle tablescape using her extensive collection of metallic lanterns, glass hurricanes, and votive candles as the main decorative statement. Positioned right on the railing, all of the guests were given front row seats to experience the crashing waves, harbor views, and wide-open skies. From the golden warmth of the sunset to the romantic full moon views, the outdoor setting was spectacular all night long! Add to that El Farallon’s incredible food and beverage menus, including their dynamic champagne service, and you get one amazing evening!

Event Design Tip

Sometimes, there is no need for flowers at all in centerpiece design. Particularly, when you have back-to-back parties that the same guests are attending throughout a destination wedding weekend. This look here, our twilight dinner at El Farallon at The Resort at Pedregal, is a beautiful example of how decorative accessories used in multiples can produce a dramatic tablescape! All without flowers and saving that BIG WOW! for the wedding reception tables.
