WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEK OF BRIDAL FASHION! Many beloved, iconic fashion designers put forth an inspired season of wedding gowns for us to dream about (or drool over) for months to come. Romantic, sensual bridal collections were shared from Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Vera Wang, Reem Acra, J Mendel, Angel Sanchez, Temperley London, and Monique Lhuillier, to name just a few powerhouses who brought their AAA games to the runways. But relatively new to the bridal scene, yet clearly here to stay, designers such as Mira Zwillinger, Naeem Khan, Houghton, Galia Lahav, and Sareh Nouri really made dramatic statements this season. There are sexy necklines plunging to belly buttons, transparent sheaths, layered bohemian flounces, crystal dusted shoulders, modern cutout backs and perforated skirts, silky palazzo pants, Grecian gathers with hidden slits to the hip, hand-painted floral fabrics, the palest of sorbet shades, and luscious black lace gowns a flamenco dancer would love!

One thing’s for sure, from what we see across each designer’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, LACE continues to be the treasured fabric for bridal gowns! No surprise there, really as what says “wedding of a lifetime” like handmade lace? But the creativity each designer used with laces that range from beautifully bold or delicately fine simply took our breath away! We just love how lace, whether embroidered, embellished or cut out, is used in elegant, sculptural ways from head to toe, or as overlays, capes, sleeves, gloves, cutouts or transparent bodices. Blend it with gossamer layers of the finest, frothy tulles and you have perfection personified.

In fact, there are so many gorgeous gowns this season we had a challenging time coming up with our ten top gowns to share! Here are 25, yes, TWENTY-FIVE of our favorite bridal gowns from this season’s collections of bridal gowns… Enjoy!
