At-Home Birthday Party Tablescape
At-Home Birthday Party Tablescape
In short, designing beautiful celebrations for friends and family brings me great joy! Seeing the guest of honor’s big smile, and sometimes tears, when they first see the party space or dinner table is soul food I hunger for on a regular basis. Something that has been hard to get during Covid-19! Luckily, despite the pandemic, I am able to design small, mostly at-home dinners and parties here in Los Cabos. Like last week’s birthday party for my dear friend, interior designer, Alejandra Usobiaga of Usobiaga Cuevas.
Birthday Party Tablescape Details
The main design elements I used to create the birthday party tablescape included my collection of terra cotta pots filled with cacti and colorful succulents and textured fabrics. Keeping the colors focused on natural sage green, turquoise blue, and happy orange. And, simple-but-elegant white ceramic china blended well with clear glass stemware, helping to keep the focus on the vibrant centerpieces.
Party Intentions
At the end of the day, while smaller than originally planned, the birthday party was all about bringing people together to celebrate life.
