An Unforgettable Family Holiday
RECENTLY, WE HAD THE PLEASURE of enjoying our own dream family holiday at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. Yes, we live in Los Cabos. Yes, we work almost every week at this unbelievable hotel. The key word there is WORK. And really, after years of planning and designing weddings at this stunning tropical resort, watching others doze on the hammocks, swim in the pools, walk on the beach, and play on the sand, why wouldn’t we jump at the chance to experience that same bliss? Well, we did! And seeing as how we are wedding planners, getting to experience the resort as our wedding clients do was tremendously insightful. EXCELLENT CHECK IN AND ARRIVAL! Quite possibly the most efficient, informative and friendly arrival and check-in process we have ever experienced. Anywhere.
Even touring the gorgeous grounds of One&Only Palmilla in our very own mini shuttle golf cart is an AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR KIDS… and grown up kids too!
From the moment we drove down the PALM TREE LINED DRIVE, walked inside the open-air lobby and then moved into our very own plush suite, we knew we were home. If only for a few, amazing days.
ROMANTIC DINNERS for two at Agua by Larbi and family dinners at Suviche, all with delicious food to tempt and tantalize.
One&Only Palmilla’s ONLY KIDS CLUB is fantastic, so our kids had a blast! and while they were there having fun Elena and I headed over the Spa for a little pampering.
It was, in a word, RESTORATIVE.
OUR KIDS enjoyed some “super fun” activities with their new friends from the Kids Only Club, but the highlight of their day (in addition to splashing around the spectacular Agua Pool) was the Make-Your-Own-Sushi classes they had with Chef Cesar!
Another way to relax while your kids are partying with the other kids? Find a cool place for a nap, or a quiet spot for reading or a game of chess. Or, why not try a little poolside guacamole and a special cocktail!?
And of course, there was the BEACH to play on!
Well, what a weekend! One&Only Palmilla, you truly are ONE AND ONLY! We want to thank all of the kind, caring One&Only Palmilla family from the bottom of our hearts for letting us live an unforgettable and marvelous weekend. You did exactly what you said you would do: you far exceeded our expectations!
