Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is just a short drive from Los Cabos International Airport (LCA) and the charming historic town of San Jose del Cabo. The resort is beyond breathtaking and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hotel’s style and spirit. Zadun is a soulful sanctuary that is meant to be shared and savored. Needless to say, we were inspired! This is why we couldn’t wait to design a beautiful celebration or wedding inspiration setting at Zadun! Thanks to another wonderful collaboration with Sara Richardson Photography and the incredible team at Zadun, we’re pleased to share this warm and welcoming event design with you.
Design Inspiration
For Elena, the design inspiration was about echoing the rich textures, earthy hues, and expansive spaces found from one side of the resort to the other. But, and this is really important, all of those experiential details unfold in quiet, soft, and extremely subtle ways. For such a large property, we really loved how secluded the spaces felt to us. Almost as if you were enjoying your own luxury hideaway home. That was the mood that enveloped us… and we hope you feel it too!
Ritz-Carlton Reserves
We weren’t as familiar with the “reserve” level in the Ritz-Carlton portfolio of properties. What we have learned is that Ritz-Carlton Reserves are one-of-a-kind retreats in specially chosen, unique locations around the world that highlight a country’s culture. For Marriott, the parent company of Ritz-Carlton, the Reserves are the ultimate luxurious experience currently offered in their hospitality portfolio. With the recent addition of Zadun in Los Cabos, there are now four Reserves to discover around the world, including Thailand, Indonesia, and Puerto Rico.
Zadun
Blending beautifully into the Baja landscape around it, Zadun offers beachfront style with incredibly thoughtful and extremely detailed service. There is so much to experience at this 5-Star luxury hotel that we’ll have to share it over many articles. Suffice it to say, over Zadun’s 20 acres there are 115-rooms, four stunning outdoor pools, four world-class restaurants, and a gorgeous golf course. And of course, the amazing Alkemia, the 30,000 square foot full-service spa that is the definition of serenity. Truly, it’s unbelievable and we haven’t even talked about the resort’s options for parties and weddings!
Bottom line, Zadun is a luxurious experience to enjoy one way or another. From an intimate wedding to a milestone birthday, a family reunion weekend or a very special wedding anniversary.
