Fabulous Beach Birthday Bash!
How about this gorgeous event? A dream Fabulous Birthday Bash Weekend for in Los Cabos, Mexico! For some reason, in just looking back through the whole weekend of parties and activities that en total made up this incredible birthday celebration, we became totally OVERWHELMED! Perhaps it has something to do with the whirlwind of spectacular, picture postcard outdoor settings each party took place in? Or, maybe the gorgeous beaches and crystal blue waters that served as backdrop to seaside lunches, poolside parties and midnight fireworks shows? This client knew exactly how she wanted to celebrate her birthday and together with her party planners from Amy Abbott Events, embraced the party planning wholeheartedly! After all, if you’re going to do it, do it BIG! Right?
Collaborating with our uber stylish client and her event planners, ELENA DAMY took the disco ball and literally ran with it! As you can see from these photos from Rhiannon Lee below, Elena and her design team created floral arrangements that reflected our client’s sophisticated taste as well as her vision for the BIG BIRTHDAY SOIREE!
This fancy Birthday Party was a big glamorous sit down dinner that took place in La Veranda at One&Only Palmilla Resort. Elena designed suspended floral arrangements in all shades of purple and magenta to hang as floral chandeliers over one long feast table. On the surface of the table low, lush floral arrangements with crimson peonies, purple hydrangea, magenta orchids, lavender roses and aubergine mini calla lilies were massed for one powerful purple explosion of color!
Combined with magenta special event lighting, personalized monogrammed light projections, pin spots on the floral arrangements, and sparkling candlelight, the overall effect was stunning! The design details also included monogrammed Lucite Ghost chairs, custom made silk linens and napkins folded with individual orchid blossoms. The Cristal was flowing, the chatter was lively and the gourmet food was delicious! The presentation of a butterfly-clad birthday cake by the hotel pastry chef, and another mind-blowing fireworks show over the water, brought this Fancy Birthday Bash to an amazing crescendo! Cheers!
It was an amazing celebration and knowing what this special birthday girl does for others, we can’t imagine a more deserving recipient of all the joy and love that was shared over her birthday weekend! And, as citizens of Los Cabos, we specifically wish to thank the birthday girl for delivering three plane loads of supplies to Cabo San Lucas after the area was slammed by Hurricane Odile last Fall. We know the community was grateful for your support and generosity.
