Maggie & Travis’ Elegant Destination Wedding in Mexico

As seen on Wed Vibes, Maggie and Travis chose to celebrate their wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. Maggie knew she wanted to get married at the resort for several years!

“I visited Pedregal in college and left the resort saying, “I want to get married here one day.” It has always been in my heart since then. It was a place I knew I wanted to celebrate and share with everyone we love on such a special weekend! Travis luckily and happily obliged,” says Maggie.

The Outdoor Ceremony Setting

The bride’s love for white orchids and lush greenery set the tone for the ceremony setting, where we designed floral installations on the columns and pergola using over 500 orchid stems. The ceremony area also included modern glass cylinders filled with submerged white orchids, and white fabric to define the space. We placed locally made woven grass fans in baskets for the guests. And, seeing as how Maggie adores orchids, her bridal bouquet was designed in a natural cascade using white phalaenopsis orchids and hydrangea.

The Cliffside Dinner Reception

As you can see in the gorgeous photos from LA76 Photography, the cliffside reception at the Waldorf Astoria offered breathtaking views! For the reception design, we layered ivory linen runners with floral centerpieces of white and ivory flowers, and hanging rattan lampshades. A chic outdoor lounge area with sofas, ottomans, and pillows provided a soft spot for guests to sink into just when they got off the dance floor. The whole look was modern but luxurious, blending perfectly with the ambiance of the Pedregal resort.
