Preston Bailey’s Designing with Flowers
After designing another successful destination wedding in California last week, I was truly honored to attend Preston Bailey’s premiere “Designing with Flowers” workshop in New York City. Although my trip to Manhattan was chock-full of client appointments and site visits, meeting globally-celebrated floral designer Preston Bailey was the highlight of my trip!
A living legend, outstanding designer and all-around amazing human being, Preston opened his prestigious design studio doors to a select group of experienced floral designers for an intensive two-day, jam-packed design course. Together with his charming and extremely talented design team, Preston shared the construction of many of his proprietary floral designs in a step-by-step, hands-on manner.
As a creative professional and business owner, I am always looking for insight on all aspects of business development. Working with other artists can be powerful, particularly those who have overcome challenges and have built award-winning companies as a result. Preston Bailey has done just that and is willing to share his struggles and triumphs, allowing other business owners (like me!) to learn from his experience.
What a real pleasure and true HONOR it was to experience the amazing world of Preston Bailey! I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done to inspire me over the years, as well as what he has done for the wedding industry as a whole.
