Jenn and Eric’s wedding at the enchanting Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas seamlessly blended natural Baja beauty and contemporary elegance. The couple’s modern botanical theme set the tone for a celebration that was as stylish as it was heartfelt.

A Scenic Ceremony

The ceremony occurred on Esperanza’s palm-tree-lined terrace, which has sweeping ocean views. Not only does the bridal party have a dramatic aisle to walk down, but the photographs are absolutely stunning! The ceremony “altar area” was non-traditional in that the bride and groom were framed by an asymmetrical floating baby’s breath arrangement.

The Color Palette

The modern look of the wedding included airy arrangements with a mix of white garden roses, delicate Queen Anne’s Lace, and fragrant herbs. Textural tropical greens brought depth and a hint of the exotic, perfectly complementing the venue’s coastal charm. Aside from the soft whites and pale greens, Jenn asked for the color lavender to be used in the decor. We included lovely lavender roses in her bridal bouquet, and the bridesmaids were dressed in pale lavender gowns, adding a soft, romantic hue that tied the entire event together.

Reception Details

The outdoor wedding reception continued the minimalist botanical aesthetic, with long dinner tables placed under palapas and little white lights. Guests enjoyed a delicious menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, blending traditional Baja flavors with contemporary culinary flair.

Jenn made a stunning transition from her classic strapless Monique Lhuillier bridal gown into a second look for the evening—a glamorous, frill and lace party frock from Marchesa that embodied her fun and modern style. This chic change added a playful twist to the night and was perfectly suited for dancing under the stars. Or, under fireworks! As the evening progressed, the celebration reached its peak with a grand fireworks display. Vibrant bursts of light illuminated the night sky, wowing guests and creating a magical moment of awe and joy. The night concluded with music from a live band, ensuring the dance floor stayed lively as friends and family celebrated well into the night.
