Beautiful Bride in Blue, Ceremony

Etched into the cliffs at the southernmost tip of Baja California sits The Resort at Pedregal (formerly known as Capella Pedregal). Voted the number one luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas by Travel & Leisure, this incredible beach resort is a mind-blowing blend of breathtaking elegance and five-star service. In other words, with its multiple settings for spectacular backdrops and award-winning sophisticated service, The Resort at Pedregal is nothing short of sheer perfection!

Our lovely clients, Lexi and Fletcher, fell in love with the beauty of Pedregal and chose to host their destination wedding at the luxury hotel last May. We were more than happy to design their wedding decor for them, using the classic wedding palette of white, ivory and champagne in modern applications throughout the wedding venue. From the hand-tied bridal bouquets and floating roses that lined the aisle, to the custom-designed grapevine “drop chandeliers” suspended in the ceremony area and the Spanish iron candelabra on the dinner tables, we  were inspired by our bride’s vision every step of the way. Starting with the stunning ocean blue couture bridal gown Lexi selected! She and her mother, perhaps one of the coolest moms we have ever had the pleasure to work with, were incredibly gracious, trusting us right from the beginning of the wedding planning process. As always, whenever a client trusts us to take their vision and run with it, we can’t wait to work our design magic!

It was a heartwarming and stylish wedding weekend filled to the brim and overflowing with love and celebration. Fair warning as you start to scroll down, Amy Bennett Photography took so many beautiful photographs that we will be sharing them in multiple blog posts! Please check back to see more of Lexi and Fletcher’s beautiful wedding in Los Cabos!

Lexi’s beautiful wedding dress was designed by the late, great Oscar de la Renta. It was the best kept secret as no one knew (except her lovely mother) what she was wearing until she walked down the aisle with her father. The back of the gown, with its soft blue waves, was truly amazing to watch as she glided down the aisle.

Lexi’s father was not only stylish but adorable, sweet and tremendously thankful when we met him the day of the wedding. “Are you Carlos and Elena? Wow, finally! It is a pleasure to meet both of you. I want to thank you both for all of your hard work. I really appreciate that you are helping Lexi to create her dream wedding come true.” You can see from the photographs how kind and generous his spirit is, how much he loves his daughter, and the affection he has for his new son-in-law.

Just look at those beautiful, beaming, and clearly blown away, expressions on the bridesmaids’ faces when they see Lexi for the first time! Pure joy! And, yes, what a gorgeous bride! Combined with her gossamer veil, chic chignon and blue drop earrings, Lexi was simply stunning to behold! With that incredible silhouette to work with, Elena designed a bridal bouquet of softly blooming white Roses with delicately cascading Phalaenopsis orchids.

Fletcher and his groomsmen enjoyed the relaxed nature of the day, getting ready and hanging out together before the ceremony. In fact, they managed to catch the Kentucky Derby as they waited for the festivities to begin. Good times all around and plenty of cervezas!
