Come Away with Anya & Bryan

THEIR WEDDING INVITATION SAID IT ALL

“Come away with us and fiesta like there is no manana!” The perfect words from Suite Paperie to inspire Anya and Bryan’s family and friends to join them in Cabo San Lucas for their wedding celebration. It’s hard to believe we designed their wedding two years ago! What we loved about it, aside from the sweet couple, was that they chose to host an intimate affair with just twelve guests in attendance. Small but mighty in emotion and style!

A DRAMATIC SETTING

Anya and Bryan fell in love with the luxurious architecture and dramatic settings found at The Resort at Pedregal. How could they resist planning their wedding ceremony on a floating terrace in the middle of the pool? A pool, and its terraces, which just nhappe to overlook wide expansive views of the beach behind it! Breathtaking. The Pedregal catering staff, lead by the lovely and amazing Nubia Villa, charmed the guests with their elegant, award-winning service, food and beverage, while the bride and groom themselves took advantage of the golden light on the beach. Warm lighting is just perfect for keepsake wedding photos!

SETTING THE SCENE

Anya and Bryan’s love story inspired Creative Director, Elena Damy, to set the scene for a romantic ceremony and dinner dance reception. Keeping the ceremony light and lovely, using creamy garden roses and soft green viburnum, the ceremony arch was kept simple and slightly rustic in tone to mirror the natural Baja surroundings. However, for the sit-down dinner, Elena enriched the dining room with low, lush floral centerpieces in reds, pinks with touches of apricot and cream. Lush blooms such as garden roses, tulips, ranunculus, and anemones were used. A soft linen runner crossed the table, and metallic gold votive candles added warm light on the surface of the table. Over the table, Elena installed dozens of floating glass votives which offered visual interest all night long.

A BOUQUET TO BUILD A DREAM ON

Anya’s bridal bouquet was a blend of both settings, bridging the lightness of the wedding ceremony design with the vibrancy of the dinner tablescape. It was beautiful in every photograph, and there are many, something we don’t see as often but appreciate greatly!!! (Thank you, dear Anya!)

RELIVE THE MAGIC OF THE DAY

There is much to enjoy in these photos from Gabriela Mohar Photography, from the ceremony itself, and how she captured the light, clouds and reflections; to the warmth and richness of the couple as they toured the hotel afterwards. Enjoy!
