Dreamy Wedding at The Cape
A ROMANTIC LOS CABOS WEDDING
Lindsey and Parker’s wedding at The Cape Hotel in Los Cabos was a romantic affair, from start-to-finish! From the sun-kissed ceremony to the sunset celebration, this was a Cabo wedding to remember.
What you will undoubtedly notice as you view the photos, beautifully captured by the lovely Sara Richardson, is that this was an elegant event drenched in soft, neutral tones. Champagnes and creams ruled the day, in the natural birch branch and taupe linen-draped ceremony arch, as well as the simple, all-white bouquets and nude Grecian bridesmaids gowns, and in the celadon, ivory and white floral tablescapes that graced the center of the dinner tables. And when the sun washed golden hues across the whole of the Rooftop Restaurant, well, that just proved, once again, the sheer perfection of getting married in Cabo! Enjoy the journey…
MAKING AN ENTRANCE
AT THE CAPE, LINDSEY’S WALK TO, AND DOWN THE AISLE, was one not to be believed! The ceremony setting at The Cape is a dramatic one, indeed. Expansive views of the sea and wide walkways overlooking the ceremony area below, it’s breathtaking! And getting there is powerful for the bride, emotions and excitement ramp up with each step taken, bringing her closer to the ocean setting. Lindsey felt that energy. But with her wedding planner, Claudia Morales, right by her side, Lindsey owned the aisle in grand style… just look at her glide down the aisle in her stunning Pallas Couture gown! Wow, wow, wow!!!

A SETTING, SOFTLY-DEFINED
With the wide blue sea as the background to the ceremony, Elena Damy, our Creative Director, designed a soft setting to frame nuptials. The frame was asymmetrical in style, with loosely draped champagne linens entwined through white birch branches. Bouquets of luscious garden and sweetheart Roses, Queen Anne’s Lace and Phalaenopsis Orchids anchored the display but didn’t compete with the rest of the view.
A PHOTOGRAPHER’S PARADISE
After the ceremony, while their wedding guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the lounge terraces overlooking the sea, the bride and groom embarked on a photo tour of the resort. From tropical settings like the one below, to formal bridal party photos with their friends, to a sensual romp on the sandy beach below the hotel… this is exactly what they wanted when they imagined their wedding in Mexico! And kudos to Claudia for planning the timeline so perfectly to catch that golden light!
RECEPTION WITH A VIEW
There really isn’t a bad location at The Cape! First, the terrace ceremony above the ocean. Then cocktails in the chic cocktail lounges overlooking the sea. Then, the dinner reception on the roof of the whole resort! MAGIC. Pure, and simple. And as the sun began to set and the giant basket lamps took on their own glow, the Rooftop Restaurant became an intimate, private party space all their own… Fun details, like the personalized cocktail napkins and signature drink menus, added to the charm of the gathering. As did the burro rides and sombrero hats – playful nods to local Mexican culture.
LOW AND LOVELY
For the dinner tables in the reception space, Elena created low lush floral arrangements for the rectangular tables already in place. More delicious ivory and cream Roses were used as the main floral statement, with white Phalaenopsis Orchids, Queen Anne’s Lace, and bunches of vines and greens for contrast. Wide silk runners and matching napkins added a touch of taupe to the table. Layered in and around the flowers were a mix of modern glass hurricanes with floating candles and hammered copper votives. And, when guests looked up over the tables, they were greeted by hanging greens and garlands. However, nothing obscured the stunning night views of the Cabo coast…
A SWEET ENDING
Of course, after their dinner dance and cake cutting in one of the most scenic spots in all of Los Cabos, Lindsey and Parker enjoyed an incredible fireworks show over the ocean! And then… continued dancing… and dancing… and, on behalf of Team Elena Damy, we wish them many more beautiful memories together!
