Modern Mexican Wedding Inspiration at Montage

Modern Mexican at Montage

Saturated in sexy reds, this modern Mexican event design celebrates the vibrancy of Los Cabos. As we have shared previously, the beautiful new seaside resort offers many locations on property for weddings, parties, and events. When we saw the stylish-yet-casual Mezcal restaurant located just below the lobby (with its breathtaking views of the resort rolling down to the beach) we knew we had to style out the cool space! We love the idea of a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, private dinner, after-party, or after-wedding brunch taking place in this chic modern kitchen! It is the perfect spot for a relaxed, warm gathering with friends and family.

The inspiration for the Design

Two different elements in Mezcal sparked the event design: the contemporary copper ceiling lamps and the wall of freeform blown red glass. Together with the high wooden community tables, cobalt blue accessories, and open, airy glass walls, we knew what we wanted to do. Take a look at how we fleshed out the design concept from the personal flowers and bridal styling on our real-life models to the tablescape we created under the copper lamps. Soft and Sultry

Captured by Rochelle Cheever in natural light just outside the restaurant, with the lovely Amy as our model. She’s dressed in a sustainably-made macrame gown designed by Alejandra Marquez Design’s Raw Project available at Eclectic Array, and with hair & Makeup by Bri. Lovely, soft and completely beach wedding ready!

Romantic Reds

Of course, this bridal bouquet Elena designed in rich reds, aubergines, and purples was divine! Loosely gathered, the softly shaped bouquet was composed with scabiosa, roses, garden roses, ranunculus, and phalaenopsis orchids.
